Community Blood Drives

August 15th

The Vitalant Blood Mobile will be making 2 stops today. The first will be to the Kiddie Korral 2.0 located at 3524 Burdick Expy E. Call Amanda at 701-340-2076 to schedule your appointment. Every two seconds a patient in the U.S. needs blood. A single patient may need one or a hundred units of blood to help them survive trauma injuries, childbirth or a transplant surgery.

Stop #2 will be to the parking lot of the Grand Oasis located at 1515 north Broadway. This is a scholarship drive that will help an MSU student earn money for college. Help Addyson as she enters into the Nursing Program. To make your appointment, call her at 701721-9513. She would appreciate your support!

August 18th:

Berthold understands the ongoing need for blood and blood products. Today, from 12:00 – 6:00, the Vitalant staff will be at the Ambulance Garage accepting your live saving donation. You can make an appointment by calling Andy at 701-453-3481. An hour of your time and 1 pint of blood could save up to 3 lives or 97 premature babies.

August 19th:

The Knights of Columbus will be hosting a drive in the basement of St. Leo’s Catholic Church from 1:00 – 6:00. Jim would love to add you to the schedule. He can be reached at 71-837-6200. Did you know that 40% of what we collect goes to area cancer patients.

August 20th:

The Vitalant Blood Mobile will be in Minot today. The first stop will be at Enerbase located at 205 46th Ave NW. Call Sheri at 701-263-7902 and she can help you make an appointment. In August, donors will automatically be entered into a drawing for one of three $10,000 gift cards!

REM North Dakota is hosting the blood mobile today from 2:00 -4:00 at 1905 2nd St SE. Tiffanie would love for you to support this blood drive. If you would like to make an appointment, she can be reached at 701-578-2408.

August 21st:

The Powers Lake community is wonderful about supporting the ongoing need for blood for our area hospitals. The blood drive today will run from 1:15 – 6:15 at the Ambulance Hall. Diane can be reached at 701-464-5581. She can get you on the schedule to save lives! Also, you could win one of three $10,000 gift cards to be given away in August!

August 22nd:

Tioga Hospital is a great supporter of the Vitalant Mission - Unite blood and biologics donors, talent, and innovation to save and improve lives. Vitalant staff will be set up in the basement to accept your donations. Call Shelby at 701-664-3305 to make your appointment. Donors who are opted-in to the Donor Rewards program will receive a $10 gift card of their choice and will be automatically entered to win a $10,000 prepaid gift card.

August 25th:

Off to Stanley today! The crew from Vitalant will be set up at the American Lutheran Church from 12-6. Ashley typically has a full schedule but, could squeeze you in! Give her a call at 701-629-1735. Blood donations are constantly needed to maintain an always ready supply. Help support our area hospitals and donate today!

August 26th:

Trinity Health Hospital understands the vital need for blood! They are amazing supporters of these blood drives and we are thankful to partner with them! If you would like to donate today from 9-3, call Jodi at 701-418-8410. The need for blood is ongoing! If you have never donated before, today is your day! All donors who opt in the to donor rewards program will automatically get a $10 gift card in the donor portal!

Grace Brown in Rolette is a great example of someone who gives back to their community. Grace has been organizing blood drives for years and would love to see you at her drive! The Vitalant Blood Mobile will be parked by Valle Lutheran Church from 1:00 – 5:00. Give Grace a call at 701-477-4771 to make your appointment. August 27th:

Quentin N Burdick Health Care Center in Belcourt is hosting the Vitalant Blood Mobile from 12:00 – 4:00. Every 2 seconds someone needs blood. Will it be you or someone you know/love? Stop in and donate today to save a life! You can call Kimberly at 701-477-8473 to make an appointment, We will take walk-ins!

August 28th:

Minot Air Force Base is where the Vitalant Blood Mobile will be today. The bus will be parked at the BX Parking lot from 11:00 – 1:45. Did you know that every 5 units collected on a Military Installment goes as a credit at the VA Hospital? Help those who served before you by donating today. August 29th:

Vitalant staff will be busy today! The Vitalant Blood Mobile will be at the Minot YMCA from 9:00 – 11:00 and then at the View from 1:00 – 3:00. If you would like to support the blood drive at the YMCA, you can call Tia at 701-852-0141. If you would like to donate later in the day, come to the View! Appointments for this blood drive can be made by calling Amanda at 701-852-7700.

Bethel Nursing and Rehab Center in Williston will host a crew from Vitalant from 11:00 – 3:45. An hour of your time and a pint of your blood could save up to 97 premature babies! Help support our area hospitals by donating today! You can call Karla at 701-572-6766 to make your appointment.

SMP St. Kateri in Rolla will host the Vitalant Blood Mobile from 12:00 – 3:45. Please call 701-477-3162 to make your appointment. We will take walk-ins however, it is faster if you make an appointment. Also, all donors will automatically be entered into a drawing for one of three $10,000 gift cards!
